1. Acceptance of these terms

Accessing and using this website (digitaldawnstudios.com), operated by Alba Digital Software y Soluciones en Salud Mental S.A. de C.V. ("Alba Digital," "we," "us"), constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. Purpose of the site

This site introduces Digital Dawn Studios, Alba Digital's game studio, its games (BlackSwan Chess, VIDA, and Hollow Tree), and a wishlist for news about their development. This site does not sell games or process payments: our games are in development or in beta and, once available, will be distributed through channels we will announce in due course.

3. Wishlist

Joining the wishlist with your email address means you agree to receive occasional messages from Digital Dawn Studios about launches, betas, and demos of our games. Joining does not constitute a purchase, pre-order, or reservation of any kind, and does not guarantee early access to any game. You can unsubscribe at any time by writing to info@albadigital.com.mx.

4. Intellectual property

The "Digital Dawn Studios" name, the names, worlds, characters, stories, art, screenshots, and other creative elements of BlackSwan Chess, VIDA, and Hollow Tree, as well as the design, text, and code of this site, are owned by Alba Digital or used under license, and are protected under Mexico's Federal Copyright Law and Federal Law for the Protection of Industrial Property. VIDA is set in recognizable locations in Monterrey, used in a creative and fictional way, without implying any relationship, sponsorship, or endorsement by those locations or their administrators.

Reproducing, distributing, publicly communicating, or transforming this content, in whole or in part, without Alba Digital's prior written authorization is prohibited, except as permitted by law (for example, screenshots or video for reviews and press coverage, with appropriate credit).

5. Honest status

One of our principles is to state clearly what stage each game is in: BlackSwan Chess and Hollow Tree are in development, and VIDA is in beta, as indicated on the site. Screenshots, descriptions, and narrative themes reflect the project's status as of the publication date and may change as development progresses. Nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee that a game will launch, on any particular date, or with the features described.

6. Use of the site

You agree to use this site and its form lawfully: without attempting to breach its security, without submitting unlawful, offensive, or spam content, and without using automated means to scrape the site at scale.

7. Links to other sites

This site links to albadigital.com.mx and albaclinica.com.mx, both operated by Alba Digital, and may eventually link to game distribution platforms or social media. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites this site may link to.

8. Limitation of liability

This site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be free of errors or interruptions, or that the games described will be completed or released. Some of our games explore mental health, trauma, or crisis themes in a narrative and fictional way; this content is for entertainment purposes and does not constitute psychological or medical advice. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alba Digital will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. The current version will always be the one published on this page, with its update date.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Mexican States. For the interpretation and performance of this document, the parties submit to the competent courts of San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, Mexico, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that might correspond to them.
